Peaceful Getaways at Meeting House Farm
In the village of Staintondale, North Yorkshire you will discover our four cottages, each beautifully presented and providing homely accommodation for a variety of guests; from families, to travellers and couples. Whether you are planning a relaxing holiday or a sightseeing adventure, this location promises the best of both worlds, with it’s network of footpaths and coastal entertainment.
Our Cottages offer a selection of sleeping arrangements for 2 to 6 people with the neatly decorated bedrooms creating a soothing escape away from it all. Wake up to it all over again, and get ready in the modern bathroom before heading out to be at one with the village and beyond.
Two of our cottages, Carters and Hayloft offer hot tubs so why not relax and reflect on your holiday so far, and plan those up and coming adventures whilst sipping a refreshing drink under the sun or the stars?
New at the end of 2025 we have now installed two central heated lodges sleeping from 2 to 6 people. Our Lodges feature log fired hot tubs on the outside decking.
At the entrance to Meeting House Farm you will find Valley View Camping. We have a total of 10 hard standing pitches suitable for caravans, motorhomes and campervans. Camping in tents is also possible on the adjacent grassy areas.
The site has a brand new toilet and shower block built in 2024. Please note: the campsite is adult only and our pitches do not have electric hook up.
We have a small selection of Glamping Pods within the grounds, with plans to extend the number of these in 2025/2026.
We operate a small Honesty Shop providing a selection of food essentials as well as additional logs for your log burning stove and log fired hot tub. The shop is open to all of our guests and campers.
Our Cottages
Here at Meeting House Farm we have a selection of four newly refurbished luxury cottages ranging from 2 bedroom to 4 bedrooms.
Two of our cottages feature log burners for that cosy country cottage feel and some properties also have hot tubs so you can sit back and enjoy the clear dark skies.
All kitchens are fully equipped for your self catering needs: all you need to provide is the food and wine!
Our Lodges
Installed at the end of 2025 we now have two brand new luxury lodges to add to our accommodation offerings.
Sleeping from 2 to 6 people our lodges are fully central heated and both feature a log burning hot tub to relax after your walk or cycle on the beautiful East Yorkshire cost.
The lodges are configured with an open-plan living space with TV and WiFi. The fully fitted kitchens feature a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and toaster. Bathrooms have walk-in showers, basin and WC. The lodges have parking for 2 vehicles.
Outside on the enclosed decking area is the log fired hot tubs. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rental fee.

Stargazing from your garden or pitch, enjoying the gentle sounds of the countryside as you sip your morning coffee or unwind with a book in the afternoon sun. Our glamping pods are perfect for those seeking a getaway with a difference.
Our Campsite
Valley View Camping is situated at Meeting House Farm. The site is on level grounds, small in scale and overlook peaceful open countryside. It is an adults-only site, so your stay should be nice and peaceful while you relax outside your motorhome or campervan, perhaps settling in for drinks and meals on the picnic tables provided – you’re welcome to bring along a barbecue.
Other facilities on site include a new toilet and shower block, pot washing facility, and chemical disposal.
The site is a five-minute drive from Ravenscar’s tea rooms, public toilets and stony beach. The nearest farm shop is three miles to the south in Cloughton Newlands.
Please note our pitches do not have Electric Hook Up.
