Meeting House Farm, Staintondale, North Yorkshire lies is midway between the fishing town of Whitby and the spa town of Scarborough. From Staintondale itself, a network of bridleways can be enjoyed for both cycling and walking. Also close by you can visit the picturesque village of Robin Hood’s Bay for a tour of the National Trust owned The Old Coastguard Station.
Head north to Whitby and discover the imposing Gothic ruins of Whitby Abbey, said to be the inspiration behind Bram Stoker’s 18th century novel, Dracula. Spot magnificent whales on the Whitby Whale Watching Tour, or wander the soft white sands of Whitby Beach before stopping by the iconic Whalebone Arch.
To the South, the seaside resort of Scarborough is home to a grand ancient stronghold known as Scarborough Castle and the manicured lawns of Peasholm Park. See exotic fish and sea mammals at Sea Life Scarborough or step back in time at Rotunda Museum.
Heading inland deep into the North York Moors National Park you can enjoy a muddy cycle through Dalby Forest or visit the English Heritage site of Wheeldale Roman Road.

Cycle The Cinder Track
Directly accessible from Meeting House Farm, the Cinder Track is a repurposed old railway line which closed in 1965 and now offers a walking or cycling route from Whitby to Scarborough.
