Whitby or Scarborough? Scarborough or Whitby? At Valley View Camping, you can kiss that age-old dilemma goodbye and settle down somewhere with easy access to both of North Yorkshire’s most popular seaside resorts.

Driving to either is a breeze – Scarborough is 15 minutes away by road, while you can reach Whitby in about 20 minutes. But there are rewards for travelling under your own steam too – the site is a few minutes’ walk from the Cinder Track, a traffic-free bike and walking trail that connects up Yorkshire’s seaside capitals, passing through lots of scenic spots that you might otherwise miss.

Valley View Camping’s level grounds are small in scale and overlook peaceful open countryside. The campsite is adults-only too, so the place should stay nice and peaceful while you relax outside your motorhome, perhaps settling in for drinks and meals on the picnic tables provided (you’re welcome to bring along a barbecue to create those meals if you like).

Other facilities on site include a brand new toilet and shower block, chemical disposal and recycling.

In need of village amenities? Here you’re a five-minute drive from Ravenscar’s tea rooms, public toilets and stony beach. The nearest farm shop is three miles to the south in Cloughton Newlands.
